The 2025 Golden Globe Awards celebrated the best in film and television at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. The night saw big wins for “The Brutalist,” “Emilia Pérez,” and “Shōgun.”
“The Brutalist” won best drama, with Adrien Brody taking home best actor and Brady Corbet receiving best director. “Emilia Pérez” won four awards, including best non-English language picture and Zoe Saldaña for supporting actress.

In TV, “Shōgun” swept all four of its nominations.

Jeremy Allen White won for his role in “The Bear,” while “Only Murders in the Building” went home empty-handed despite four nods.
Golden Globe 2025 notable winners
Other notable winners included Fernanda Torres for best actress in “I’m Still Here,” “Challengers” for best original score, and Demi Moore’s first Golden Globe for “The Substance.
Host Nikki Glaser delivered a strong opening monologue, impressing with her sharp humor and multiple costume changes. Her “Wicked”-“Conclave” mash-up called “Pope-ular” was a standout moment. Colin Farrell made history as the third comic book villain actor to win a Golden Globe for his role in “The Penguin.” Demi Moore gave a moving acceptance speech for her win.
