Robert Kiyosaki, the author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” has issued a warning about an impending stock market crash. He predicts the crash will occur in February 2025 and will be the biggest in history. Kiyosaki shared his views on the social media platform X, where he referenced a prophecy he made in his 2013 book “Rich Dad’s Prophecy” about a massive stock market crash.
He believes that the crash will cause assets like cars and houses to become more affordable. Kiyosaki also predicts that this downturn will drive billions of dollars out of the stock and bond markets and into Bitcoin, creating a “boom, boom, boom” effect. He encourages people to invest in cryptocurrency, as well as gold and silver.
The financial guru supports Bitcoin due to two principles governing economics and technology—Gresham’s Law and Metcalfe’s Law.
Kiyosaki’s prediction on stock crash
He explains that “bad money” drives “good money” into hiding, suggesting that gold and silver have been concealed due to the prevalence of what he calls “fake” US dollars.
Metcalfe’s Law, which states that a network’s value is directly related to the number of its users, is also cited by Kiyosaki as a driving force behind Bitcoin’s potential. This law has been acknowledged by figures like Fidelity Investment’s global macro director Jurrien Timmer in the context of Bitcoin. Kiyosaki has consistently expressed a bullish sentiment on Bitcoin.
Previously, he predicted that Bitcoin would reach $300,000 by March 2024. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at around $100,939, as of the time of writing. It is important to note that opinions expressed by Robert Kiyosaki are not investment advice.
Investors should conduct due diligence before making any high-risk investments in Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or digital assets.
