Peter Sutherland, the FBI agent who saved the president in Season 1 of Netflix’s hit action-thriller “The Night Agent,” is back for a new high-stakes mission in Season 2. This time, Peter is a full-fledged Night Agent tasked with hunting down a CIA mole leaking top government secrets. The stakes are even higher as the mole is gathering resources to build a bomb and blow up Manhattan.

This adds extra urgency to Peter’s rogue mission to stop the threat before it’s too late. Gabriel Basso returns as Peter Sutherland, joined by new cast members Brittany Snow and Amanda Warren. Other additions to the cast include Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Michael Malarkey, and Keon Alexander.

Season 2 of “The Night Agent” was filmed on location in New York, Washington D.C., and Thailand. All 10 episodes of the new season premiere on Netflix on Thursday, January 23 at 3 a.m. ET. Another thriller series debuting this week is “Prime Target” on Apple TV+.

The show stars Leo Woodall as Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math postgraduate student on the verge of discovering a pattern in prime numbers that could potentially unlock every computer in the world.
