Spencer Pratt is one proud husband. The former reality star sobbed tears of gratitude in a TikTok video shared over the weekend as his wife Heidi Montag’s 2010 album, Superficial, reached No. 1 on the iTunes U.S. album chart.

Celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Emily Ratajkowski expressed their support for the album’s revival. By Sunday, January 12, Montag’s album had topped the iTunes U.S. chart, and its titular song was also a hit on the singles chart. “We spent all of our money on this album,” Pratt, 41, explained in an emotional video.

“We invested everything we had, hiring top writers and producers for a record that only sold 1,000 copies in its first week back in January 2010.”

Pratt continued, “For it to finally get No. 1 in America, 15 years later… Do you know how many times we’ve cried and how much regret we’ve had about spending all of our money and investing it in Heidi’s music?” Overcome with emotion, Pratt sobbed on camera celebrating his wife’s achievement. Montag expressed her gratitude to fans in a heartfelt Instagram Stories video on Saturday, January 11.

“Thank you so much to everyone. No.

1 on iTunes chart, oh my gosh,” she shared.

“Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and for rallying behind us in this devastating time, making it such a blessing.”

The couple, who share sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months, had faced hardship as their home was destroyed in the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Both Pratt and Montag have been updating fans on their situation, urging them to support their family financially in the wake of their loss. In a video shared by Montag via TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple revealed the few items that remained of their house after the fire, all contained in a single plastic bag.

Spencer Pratt emotionally thanked fans for their support, calling it “a miracle.”

“Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, giving us hope and faith in such a dark time,” Montag continued in her video post. “No. 1, ahhh! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it.

And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. The timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy, thank you…”
