Laurie Lico Albanese is the author of several books including the novel, Stolen Beauty, and the memoir, Blue Suburbia. Her fiction has been translated into French, German, Portuguese and Italian. Her essays and travel pieces appear in the New York Times, More magazine and elsewhere. She teaches writing at Stonecoast MFA Program at the University of Southern Maine, where she is introducing and leading trauma-informed workshops.
