Edward Pettifer, a 31-year-old British man, was among the 14 people killed in a tragic New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans. Pettifer was the stepson of Alexandra Pettifer, known in the 1990s as Tiggy Legge-Bourke, who served as the former nanny to Prince William and Prince Harry. The Pettifer family expressed their devastation at the news of Edward’s death.

In a statement issued by London’s Metropolitan Police, they said, “The entire family is devastated at the tragic news of Ed’s death in New Orleans. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend to so many. We will all miss him terribly.
