Return to Los Angeles announced
Many attendees also missed the opportunity to combine AFM with other industry meetings in Los Angeles.
AGC CEO Stuart Ford commented, “Jean [Prewitt, IFTA CEO] and the IFTA board certainly deserve real credit for delivering a solution that gives AFM an upscale location right in the center of town and on a multi-year basis. The return of AFM is a small financial boost for the city after the devastation of recent weeks.”
The IFTA board chose the Fairmont Century Plaza after an extensive evaluation of multiple venues across Los Angeles. The newly renovated Fairmont offers prestige, accessibility, amenities, and pricing consistent with recent years, situated near Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Westwood.
The full announcement from IFTA emphasized the importance of AFM as more than just a transactional space. Over the decades, it has evolved into an essential event where industry leaders come together to launch new films and projects, assess the marketplace, share insights, and stay abreast of rapid changes shaping the business. Details about exhibition opportunities, registration, and the event’s agenda will be available shortly.
AFM organizers expressed gratitude for the industry’s continued support and eagerly anticipate welcoming attendees back to Los Angeles.
